Questionable Marketing
Help me understand this…
General Mills advertises on their Honey Nut Cheerios box that their cereal can lower cholesterol. Hmmm, that’s kind of a paradox.
The truth is because of the 12grams of sugar in a serving of the cereal, usually mixed with milk, which adds 13 grams of sugar per cup, the only cholesterol lowering would be HDL(good cholesterol), whereas LDL and triglycerides would increase, especially in individuals with higher A1-C levels.
Can you wrap your mind around their statement on their box?
